How does parking work?
Parking Info: If you'll be bringing a vehicle, please be aware that our only parking is on the street in front of the building, and a permit is required. This house is located in permit zone SND. Please visit stayincolumbus.com/guides/parking for the full details on parking.
How do we access the house?
We've planned to make your arrival as smooth as possible with a digital keypad lock on the front door of the house! We will send you a door code by noon on your arrival day. This will come in an email or in a message through the booking channel (Airbnb, VRBO). To work the lock, simply enter the 4-digit code.
To unlock: enter your 4-digit code.
To lock: press the "lock" icon at the bottom right.
Please Note: These locks run on AA batteries and they do need to be changed sometimes. Please tell us right away if you notice any warning beeps or a delay before the lock opens! We do have a backup key in a lockbox at the house, just in case!
Can we request an early check-in?
Standard check-in time is 4pm. If you would like to arrive earlier, we ask that you wait until the day before your stay to make your request. The availability will depend on whether the night before your stay is booked by someone else. We get a lot of bookings on shorter notice, so it can be difficult for us to confirm too far in advance.

Where do we put trash and recycling?
You can use the bins provided inside of the house. Columbus has all-in-one recycling (metal, paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, and glass). If you have more trash or recycling than will fit in the bins in the unit, please take it out to the larger bins outside. (Green = Trash and Blue = Recycling). For more details about what can be recycled in the blue bins, please see this website: www.recycleright.org
We do ask for assistance from our guests in moving the trash and recycling bins to/from the curb in front of the house on the pickup days. We'll provide reminder messages and we'll be available to help anyone with physical limitations if needed.
What else should we know about the house?
This house was built in 19xx and the current owners purchased and updated the home in 20xx.
The pocket doors between the front sitting room and the dining room are very old and can be a bit sticky. Please be very gentle and move them carefully if you want to close them.
The TVs do not have cable, but will allow you to use your own streaming accounts.
We think the rest of the house is pretty easy to figure out, but we'll add more quirks here as we discover them.
How do we check out?
Leaving so soon? We hope you can join us another time. Our cleaning crew will be so happy if you could do the following:
Laundry: You can leave bedding on the beds and any used towels on the floor.
Kitchen: Please discard any open food, including inside of refrigerators. If you have any leftover food in unopened packaging, you may leave it and our cleaning crew will keep it or donate it. If you have used any dishes, please wash them and put them away (or leave them in the drying rack).
Smart TVs: Please log out of your Netflix and other streaming accounts before checking out.
Please turn off the lights and lock the doors on your way out.
If you're more than one hour ahead of checkout time, please send us a message and let us know (our cleaners love to start early when they can!).
